"I'll be ready in just a minute" are words spoken alerting the prepared that it may be a while before everyone is available for whatever.

There are times when extra preparation needs to be made before everything is put in order and important events in life can begin. Many situations in life necessitate prompt preparation and cooperation so that everyone contributes to the success of the event. Waiting on one another is often a practice of love, kindness, and an acceptance that we are all different.
We all must be prepared, ready, to answer this question, "Are you ready, are you ready, are you ready for the Judgement Day?" Yes, words to a familiar song, but a sobering question that can be answered with confidence. "Yes, I am ready for 'that day'."
Jesus spoke a parable about 10 virgins in Matthew 25:1-13, prompting everyone to be ready before the door of opportunity will be closed. "The virgins who were ready when in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut...Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."
